Lanterns

Based on the DC comic characters and co-created by Emmy® winner Damon Lindelof, Emmy® nominee Chris Mundy, and Tom King, this series follows Green Lantern legend Hal Jordan (Emmy® winner Kyle Chandler) and new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre), two intergalactic cops drawn into a dark, Earth-based mystery as they investigate a murder in the American heartland. After receiving a coded message, Hal and John, who's been training his whole life to wear the Lantern ring, head to Rushville, Nebraska, where they come face-to-face with an inexplicable mass shooting – which Hal is certain is an extraterrestrial event. As they set out to solve the case – and with town favor quickly turning against Hal – the Green Lantern's most important mission of protecting the peace faces an increasingly uphill and dangerous battle.
