Anvil! The Story of Anvil

One of the most beloved rockumentaries of all time, this inspiring, heartfelt celebration of the human will to persevere follows Canadian heavy-metal legends Anvil, who played some of the world’s biggest stages in the 1980s and inspired the likes of Anthrax and Metallica—only to then drop off the map and toil for decades in obscurity. In ANVIL! THE STORY OF ANVIL director and former roadie Sacha Gervasi catches up with guitarist Steve “Lips” Kudlow and drummer Robb Reiner, now in their fifties, as they stumble through a harrowing European tour and reflect on failure, friendship, resilience, and the will to follow even the most impossible of dreams.
